She is a Texas-certified peer specialist in recovery, mental health, and reentry, driven by a strong belief in the transformative power of community support and positive change. Her journey in the recovery community has been marked by an unwavering commitment to creating a nurturing and empowering environment for individuals.
Chelsea is a woman in long-term recovery whose recovery journey began in October 2018. Today, she is the TX Data Specialist at Oxford House Inc. Oxford House is a worldwide non-profit organization offering affordable peer-run, self-sustaining, substance-free housing.
With diverse skills and experiences, Chelsea brings valuable assets to the RecoveryATX community, including leadership, community organizing, and extensive business process improvement experience.
Dedicated to fostering positive change and empowering individuals, she believes everyone deserves equality and opportunities for a better life, regardless of their past. She advocates for those who have not yet found their voice and allows them the space to identify their path to recovery.
