Kat Croft
Board Secretary
New to Texas and to the Austin recovery scene, Kat Croft is thrilled to be a part of RecoveryATX as a member of the board. She is drawn to RecoveryATX’s mission of making education, training and support accessible for all people interested in recovery and empowering individuals to define what "recovery" means to them. Kat has lived experience with addiction, relapse, mental health, medication assisted treatment, homelessness, criminal justice involvement, and grief/loss. She has been sober since August 2022. She is an active member of a 12 step program and a leader in the recovery ministry at her church. She believes that there are many pathways to recovery and encourages others to embrace what works for them.
The bright spot of Kat’s life is working with other women. The fellowship of women that she is a part of is one of the most important things in her life. She attributes everything that she has today to God. She has a husband who is also in long term recovery. They live in North Austin with their newborn daughter, Hannah Grace, and their chiweenie, Ravioli.
